Hello! I am Sam Red! What's up? The sky maybe? Just kidding, silly

The sky is down! XD
Anyway, I have wanted to become a manga artist ever since I was 10 years old when a friend (who I swear to god was a prodigy for his age) taught me a small amount of the basics. Over the past 2 years of having a DeviantArt account, my art has really improved. Now, I wish to upload more of the stuff I have and get into more digital and traditional art.
Being in high school, I am setting my eyes to go to the School of Visual Arts or Parsons: The New School of Design for college as animation/cartooning/graphic design minors? I don't really know yet, but I can't wait!
Many of my friends say that I could really be a manga artist because I'm really good. However, I fear that my art might not be "enough" for employers and companies. There are a million other kids like me in the world. Plus there's art theft, illegal manga websites, etc. that I will have to deal with. I am a little nervous about becoming basically a starving artist for the rest of my life.
So for now, all I can do is practice and dream...
Have dreams of Nihon...
